§1. Always respect the Landwights.
§2. The office of the Goðorð shall always be held in the highest regard.
§3. Do not swear false oaths.
§4. The Þing establishes the laws, and the Hofgoðar establishes the Þing.
§5. All men should be cremated and their remains buried in the earth.
§6. Honor the dead, especially those who performed great deeds.
§7. Perform Blót at Winter, Midwinter, and Summer.
§8. The people pay the skatt (tax) for the defense of the land and the Blót.
§9. Frith shall be maintained in the holy places and at holy events.
§10. When a man is accused of a crime, he may have others swear oaths to help in his defense.
§11. Never steal from the holy places of the Gods.
§12. Never speak blasphemy against the Gods.
§13. Never defile the holy steads of the Gods with bloodshed or filth.
§14, Never bring weapons into the holy places of the Gods, which are frithsteads.
§15. Never commit adultery.
§16. Do no be a sexual deviant.
§17. Never seduce another man’s wife.
§18. Never abduct a woman.
§19. Do not commit treason against your king.
§20. Do not commit arson.
§21. Always seek justice for your kin when they are harmed or wronged.
§22. Do not be a thief.
§23 Do not be a coward or deserter.
§24. Do not maim others.
§25. Do not slander others.
§26. Do not commit murder.
§27. Do not mutilate animals.
§28. Never violate the peace of one’s own land.
§29. Do not gravely insult another.
§30. Do not rape.
§31. A pledge made must be kept, or else it is forfeit.
§32. Only legitimized children are granted inheritance (óðal).
§33. When boys come of age, they must be made into men.
§34. The practice of Seiðr is strictly forbidden.
§35. The proper rites must be performed for a family to foster a child.
§36. When a man comes of age, he must find and court a woman for marriage. She accepts him based on his good deeds and good name.
§37. The proper rites must be performed for a man and woman to marry.
§38. The proper rites must be performed for foster-brotherhood to take place.
§39. The proper rites must be performed for a child to be adopted and accept inheritance (óðal).
§40. The proper rites must be performed when one dies.
§41. The proper rites must be performed when one takes up oðal.
